Private Condoms challenge Capital Radio's DJ Bam Bam to tackle the BUPA Great Capital Run 2007...

Not known for his fitness regime Capital Radio's DJ Bam Bam was reluctant to change his lifestyle and compete in the BUPA Great Capital Run. Live on air, Bam Bam made it clear it would take a lot to change his mind, but following a sponsorship offer of £10k from Private Condom's CEO Dave Moran, how could he say NO!

Unfortunately, on the big day, Bam Bam had to cry off due to his wife giving birth the night before. So it was agreed that the challenge would take place in the Capital Radio Studio on Friday 24 August.

Dave and Bam Bam battled it out in the hot and sweaty studio on two running machines specially brought in for the challenge. Dave's holiday training paid off and he completed the run in just over one hour, not however, without a few minor hiccups along the way.

Well done Dave for beating Bam Bam and donating money to a well deserving charity!
